This year the assembly choir visited the offices of Gedling Borough Council to sing a selection of carols and met the Mayor whilst she was involved in a prize giving ceremony. The children then enjoyed a visit to the council chamber where they took part in a brief debate when Mr Jennings posed the argument that school trips were a waste of time that children should be learning! Some fantastic arguments were put forward by the children and they all enjoyed the experience.

They then went off to Sycamore House, a residential home, to sing some more carols for the residents there. A very warm but jolly outing.

The assmebly Choir would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.
