Westdale Juniors had a special assembly today (6.12.18) as ex Nottingham Forest Footballer, Lawrence Gorman , presented children with medals and trophies. A few weeks a go children took part in a 'Speed Kick Challenge' and Lawrence was on hand to hand out winners medals for the fastest boy and girl in each class. As this was a fundraising event, special trophies were given to children who raised £25 or more. All the children raised over £800 pounds which is a fantastic achievement. A special mention must go to Imogen Thompson who raised an amazing £128.50. Well done all!

The football season comes to an end for Westdale Juniors. The boys have done so well and played some great football at times. Some of the goals they have scored have been fabulous. The team spirit, the togetherness and their attitude to never give up has been superb. Alex is missing from the picture but he has been a super player for us too. A special thanks to ALL the parents for supporting the team and helping with lifts to away games. Your support is greatly appreciated.
