The National Space Centre
The Year 5 children had the fantastic opportunity to visit the National Space Centre on the 19th September. This exciting visit allowed them to journey through the solar system to visit our planetary neighbours and learn more about these planets for our Earth and Space Science topic. They had the chance to find out about the life in space for the brave astronauts and the tense rivalry between the USA and the Soviet Union during the space race which will support their learning in History after October half term.
