Harvest Festival
On Wednesday 9 October, Westdale Juniors held their annual Harvest Festival celebration.
Each year group focussed on a particular aspect of Harvest, e.g. Year 6 focussed on rationing during World War Two (which also happens to be their current history topic) and each contribution made a thoughtful and - in some cases – thought-provoking reference to the importance of Harvest, i.e. being grateful for what we have and remembering those who don’t have enough to eat or go without in some other way.
