Sleep workshop
This afternoon we had a visitor in school from the Mental Health Support Team to talk about the importance of good sleep and to share some tips with the children on how to get to sleep and sleep well. The children should arrive home with a sleep diary which we are asking them to complete over the next week so they can see how much sleep they are getting. Did you know that children aged between 7 and 12 should be getting 10-11 hours sleep per day? The children also have some strategies to use to help them get to sleep.
