Sports day!

A fantastic day at Westdale Juniors (Whole School - 02/07/2024)

On Friday, the children took part in our annual Westdale Juniors Sports Day.

We had potted sports, where the children competed in groups from across their years. There was some incredible teamwork shown here.

Year 3 - "You're so close and I'm sure you'll get it next time."

Year 6 - "Well done Year 4, you're smashing it!"

The children also took part in competitive races/games on the MUGA. We had 100m sprint and even some old school classics, like egg and spoon and 3-legged race.

Year 5 - "This was the best day ever!"

Year 4 - "Do you think we could have sports day once a week?"

Thank you to all of the adults that came and joined us to cheer on our amazing children.
