D&T project
In D&T, many of the children in 3L/M had designed a building in a group that could have withstood an earthquake (3M hadn’t started this project yet).We were going to use a variety of materials such as wood, art straws and clay. Perhaps the children could design and make their own building, using resources they can find in the house, garden and any sheds? Tie sticks together with string, and maybe use a cardboard box to create a roof and a base? Then, with an adult’s help, place it on a table or chair and shake it… Will any lego people inside survive?! Send us your before and after pictures to lmason@westdalejuniors.co.uk or mmiddleton@westdalejuniors.co.uk
