Brilliant children’s audio books for FREE!
As schools are closed for now and so are libraries, accessing books is more challenging. One way of overcoming this is to use your library card to download audio books. This can be done on your phone, tablet or laptop.
Nottinghamshire Libraries' members can download audio books for free.
Over 13,000 titles are available from 3 different suppliers, with more added each month. You can borrow up to five books at a time, from each supplier, for up to 21 days.

Audible has announced free access to several children’s books, for the duration of school closures. There is no log-in or registration required, and it is not a free trial. All the titles in the collection are available to stream straight from the web and there is no limit to how many people can listen.
It is a great option for some family listening or extra learning during school closures, and one that gives a much-needed break from screens.
